Strictly, this is an ethnographic study of a "digital community" called AVEN, or the "Asexuality Visibility and Education Network".   More broadly, this study interprets the nature of a community in which its members would find difficulty realizing together in a physical setting due to the inherent invisibility of the purpose (asexuality is not obvious and noticeable), small number of members, and scattered locations across the globe.   This document will explore the study through an understanding of community, asexuality, the AVEN community, and how each affects the other.
